How to get a better night’s sleep

If you’re having trouble catching Z’s, there are a few things you can do to help the process along:

  • Maintain a regular bed and wake time schedule, including weekends.

  • Create a sleep-conducive environment that is dark, quiet, comfortable and cool.

  • Finish eating at least two to three hours before your regular bedtime.

  • Avoid alcohol close to bedtime. It can lead to disrupted sleep later in the night.
